By this age, almost 8 weeks, most babies have discovered their hands. Evie is no exception. She's been putting them in her mouth since she was born, but now she does it very purposefully. It's very cute, but makes a drooly mess and we are constantly washing her hands to make sure they're clean. These pictures were taken right after she got up this morning. The little lady is very happy in the morning so it's a great opportunity to get her to spend some time on her tummy, which is still not her favorite position. She's been doing much better with it lately...spending almost 10 consecutive minutes on her tummy the other day without crying. That may not seem like much, but it's huge for her. My goal is 20-30 minutes of time on her tummy each day, and most days it's a struggle. Technically, any time spent off the back of her head counts as tummy time (including being held and sitting up), but I'm only counting time where she's actually laying on her tummy...the rest is just a bonus:)
