La Crosse holds a big 4th of July celebration called Riverfest. There's lots of food, music and entertainment thoughout the festival so we took Evie down to check it out this year. Here she is sippin' on an enormous glass of freshly squeezed lemonade:
We made it just in time to see the air show over the Mississippi River. Evie loves planes and seemed to like the show. She clearly wasn't interested in posing for a picture:
The pig races were another highlight of our afternoon. Evie wasn't quite sure what to think, but yelled loudly along with the crowd during the races. Each race featured four piglets running around a little track toward an Oreo. Yep, the grand prize was a cookie!
