Spoon

Evie's favorite new "toy" is a spoon. She has tons of fun grabbing, dropping and chewing on her spoon after she eats. I'm not entirely sure it's a good idea to encourage her on this one, but we're giving it a try for now because she's so interested in utensils and really seems to want to feed herself. Basically, we think allowing her to try out the spoon may help her figure out how to actually use it to get food in her mouth sooner than later...which is a very valuable thing for a little one who seems to get very frustrated when she sets her mind to a task and can't quite manage it yet. In any case, she has fun with her spoons, and it seems to feel good on her teeth and gums! Yep, we can use the plural now....as of this psat weekend, she got her second tooth!
