18-month appt

Evie had her 18-month well-check yesterday. It still shocks me that she's already a year and a half old! The li'l miss continues to keep on her growth curve and is in the 80th percentile for both height (33.25 in) and weight (26 lb 12 oz). She's also ahead of the curve developmentally for her age. They give you this checklist at each well-check and you have to answer questions about both cognitive and motor skill development...things like "Can you child dump a small object such as a raisin from a cup?," "Can your child find and bring objects when asked?" and "Can your child run across the room without falling or tripping?" Right now, we're working on the questionnaire for 24- month-olds. I know that all it really means is that she's not developmentally delayed, but it's still fun to be able to say "yes" to so many of those questions. Li'l miss Evie is growing up so fast!!!
