What happened to that cat?

We recently had an adventure at the vet's office, a result of which is shown in the photos below! Evie has a very tempermental cat name Keags, who decided once we moved to Madison that cleaning himself was no longer worth his while. What happens when a long-haired cat foregoes his daily bath? He gets mats in his fur. Since he also doesn't like havingg mats brushed out, we decided a "lion cut" was the way to go. Unfortunately, I didn't realize what that meant exactly....and was shocked when the fur on his body wasn't just trimmed short, but was shaved off completely!!! Evie was mesmerized by the effect - it was as if she'd never seen Keags before. Poor Keags....but too funny not to post!
