Evie is talking up a storm these days, and some of the things she says are really funny. Here are a few recent examples:
Our dog Oakley runs outside in the morning, and the li'l miss yells after him, "Ackey, POOP!"
"One, two, free, four, fife, six, sefen, TEN!"
"Thank you. Welcome."
"Stick, leaf, corn (for acorn), mama, dada, ackey, evie, rock." while on a walk.
"a, b......elmo......p, w, Z!!" during the alphabet song.
"ee yi ee yi oh!!!" the chorus to "Old MacDonald."
"want it, have it, MINE!" talking about my cell phone. At less than two, she already seems to get the age-old legal theory - possession is nine-tenths of the law.
Me: "Evie, Mama caught your cold!"
Evie felt my hand and arm and then said: "No, mama, hot!"
We're having fun translating toddler-speak, and getting a little peak at what goes on inside Evie's head each day.
Welcome to the wonderful world of Evelyn Ilene!!!
