In celebration of Evie's birthday, her daddy came home early from work so we could all have birthday cupcakes. To no one's surprise, the li'l miss thought her birthday treat was fabulous! As a line from one of our books goes, "More, more, more said the baby!"
Good to the last bite!
After enjoying our cupcakes, Evie got to open one of her presents and then we all went to cut down our Christmas tree. Evie had a blast pretending I was a pony as we galloped across the tree farm in search of the perfect tree. I can still hear her squealing and laughing into my ear. Evie was so tuckered out from her big day that she fell asleep before opening the rest of her presents...or even eating dinner! Goodnight li'l miss....tomorrow will be here before you know it.
