Holiday Traditions

The li'l miss helped us bake our first batch of Christmas cut-outs of the season this weekend. From rolling out the dough, cutting out stars, trees and "socks" as her Daddy calls the stockings, to decorating the cookies with lots of sprinkles and making sure they pass the taste test, Evelyn was a big help in the kitchen! After gobbling down one cookie (clearly, it passed the test!), she quickly asked "More cookie?" with the cutest smile on her face. There were no more cookies for her last night, but we're thinking that they might need another test tonight!

Baking and decorating cut-out cookies together is just one of the many, fun holiday traditions we've started as a family and hope to share for years. As Evie has gotten older and started to be able to tell us how much she enjoys things like making cookies or cutting down and decorating our Christmas tree, it's made these traditions that much more special.
