Bye bye!

Evie now seems to understand the concept of saying goodbye. She waves "bye-bye" when friends leave the house, to whichever parent is not putting her to bed when we say goodnight, and sometimes even waves to Oakley when he runs out into the yard. Very cute! This weekend, we had Evie's friend Julian and his parents Ruth and Morgan over for a farewell brunch as they head off to New York. Julian is the first friend Evie ever made, and she'll miss seeing him at our regular play dates! We tried for some cute photos, but the kids weren't so cooperative with posing:
